High School Girls Competitive Water Polo 16U and 18U registration is now open!
SBU's high school program accommodates player of all abilities, from novice to experienced,
and focuses on developing and strengthening fundamentals, conditioning and good sportsmanship.
 | SplashballSplashball is designed for those athletes, ages 4-8, that have no or limited swimming and/or water polo experience. Through in-water instruction in the shallow training pool, athletes work on swimming skills, passing and shooting the ball. As they begin to develop the fundamental basics of the game, they progress to more challenging drills and are introduced to the egg beater kick. Splashball trainings focuses on teaching the skills of water polo in a fun and energetic instructional environment. |
 | Junior Development Water Polo SBU is now offering an introductory water polo program specially designed for boys and girls ages 7 and up. This entry level program, is designed for new water polo athletes, who will learn the basics of water polo, including eggbeater (treading water), dribbling, pass, catch and shoot on offense, defensive strategies, and general game basics in a fun and safe environment. |

South Bay United Water Polo Club is unaffiliated with ANY high school or high school water polo program.
No high school athlete is required to participate with SBU in order to participate with his or her high school team.
South Bay United Water Polo Club is affiliated with USA Water Polo and is part of USA Water Polo’s Coastal California zone,
which is comprised of Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.
